My engine is currently in the shop to get the lower end rebuilt and I'm looking to get some internals:

Ross Racing Pistons
Eagle Connecting Rods
Clevite 77 Bearings
ARP Hardware

Now, the head was rebuilt not to long ago and so was the turbo (14b). With this lower end rebuilt, stock rebuilt head, and supporting MODs, what kind of HP do you guys think I could run?

I'm asking this because my sponser wants to put the best Venom kit on the car and I want the engine to support it at high boost AND juice ;)

zzzz Any close rating would be good ... :(

On race gas I'm sure it can handle anything within reason assuming you don't run a ridiculous amount of spray. I would be very wary of spraying on race gas, and if you do definately drop the boost a little.

I hope by "supporting mods" you mean have a very good fuel pump. Nitrous on a turbo car will give you a boost spike when on the button (depending on flow capabilities of the wastegate). The 14b stock gate is small, so keep that in mind. It WILL spike when you hit the button, and it will possibly creep on you too. Start with a small shot, and keep a VERY close eye on the boost gauge.

I don't know what exactly you mean by "supporting mods", as a 14B doesn't require any supporting mods. It's a stock turbo, the OEM supported it. Anyway, if you don't have the fuel this, you're just setting yourself up for a kaboom. Definitely do NOT spray when on pump gas. You WILL detonate the piss out of it. You need at least a 255 fuel pump.

As for HP numbers, put it together and dyno it... no need for bench racing.

And I'd really recommend going with something other than an "import branded" nitrous kit. They really are complete pieces of crap (zex and venom both come to mind as turds). Look into a NX single fogger wet kit... or direct port if you want to run the big ballsy amounts of spray.

The only reason I'm getting the Venom kit is because I'm getting it for free  And, yes, it is direct port ... this guy that is installing it, is sopose to do it all custom (4 stage computer controled :D)

that rotating assembly should not have a problem withstanding the abuse of 600+ hp.

you will, however, need at least 2 14bs on the motor to do get close to that number ...... :D
