quick question, will a 1990 fwd turbo tranny work in a 92 shell with a 90 motor, i blew my trans, and found a 90 cheap, please respond asap thanks lot in advance..

Ya know... I'll bet this topic has been answered 10,000 times here and a very quick SEARCH would have yielded your answer quickly. This stuff is also covered in the VFAQ's too.
Yes you have to or he wouldn't have mentioned it. You'll also need the transfer case too and make sure you get the little tranny bracket with the cables and that shifter. They're all different for '90.
BTW - going to '90 trans, shifter and cables is kind of going backwards. The '91+ stuff is better.

i dunno, I put a 90 tranny in my 93 and it worked fine with no cable or shifter change. That's a n/t though.
