Mike,
My 95 GSX is stock. I never bother to mess with a Type R. Don't do that. Our cars' stock Trap speed is about 90mph, if lucky 92. Type R easily beat 95 or higher. I'll race with a friend's type R soon, I'll let you know what's up.

Later,

When my friend's Type R was stock he had no problem with stock DSMs with a good launch, now if I was driving it I had issues with launching a FWD and against another friend's stock GSX I couldn't get him off the line but as we approached 100mph the R was making up good ground.

Stock Turbo AWD's dsms are able to run 15 flat... Although this can only be done with a great driver in perfect conditions and prolly on race gas at that. I haven't ever seen a stock gsx run before let alone one with a brand new engine. Although I've seen a lightly modded TSI AWD run 14.7's

nawww it wont beat a type R but a Type R will cost a lot morE!!!! any car in the 15's on a quarter is fast. With a few mods it will be even faster! a few engine upgrades and u boost the turbo this thing will fly!

give me a stock awd and you'd probably see 14.xx timeslips

Pshhhhh.... I say a Type R Grand Am in monroville not to long ago. It was running an 11 at the same time it was sitting in a parking space it was so fast.:rudolph:

Yea those are those new JDGM type R conversions. I've seen them popping up everywhere. People are really getting sneaky these days. Watch out for the ones with the High Performance Blue headlights, I think they look great with the matching yellow fogs. The other day I say a Ferrari CRX. I know it was because it said it on the back, it even had a huge horse on the hood. We left a light together and I ended up peeling out through the first 3 gears before I left the intersection. He only chirped his tires in first. He really knew how to drive that beast. None the less he beat me... out of the intersection. :D But no matter, nobody could witness it with the hugh cloud of tire smoke I left.
