Ok simple question. I cannot figure out how to drill the hole in the lower part of the A pillar to hold the pod in. The "hump" over the gauges, in the dash gets in the way. Has anyone succeeded in doing this? If so, please share the wealth. Thanks,

that is what I did also, then later I got a friends drimal(sp) and was able to dill the bottom hole.

I used an air drill with a short bit that I was fortunate enough to have access to. It fit almost perfectly (yes, the back was resting against the hump) but it was VERY close to being a completely straight shot. I like the gauge pod, but I wish it impeded visibility a bit less. Oh well.

Don't even drill!!!

I didn't even drill mine... Seriously.

I have heard of people using Shoe Goo to hold up the pilliar- strong stuff.

I used a ball of 'clay' to keep it up... Any hardware store has it, or even K-Mart / WalMart..

Its made by Loctite and its used to keep up posters, etc... On a larger scale- you can ball it up and slap it in back of the pilliar- push it on and VOILA.

Mine hasn't fallen down in 2 years- so it must work.. I prefer this look to the driled look- its more 'stock' and the only way you could tell its not a stock piece is because the grain doesnt quite match perfectly.

I got the Autometer one instead of the Lotek.

Thanks for the replies. I may just try that clay that egorka mentioned. The only problem I have noticed with this pod is that it tends to want to protrude out towars the window, so you can see behind it. I'll figure something out, I have a lot of different ideas to work with now.

Thanks again
