Hey guys some opinions needed. I am gonna be doing new rotors and pads this weekend on the front cause they are warped pretty bad and I got a MBC built and it should hold up very well once I get it hooked up and calibrated to 15psi. THat is the max I want to run on the stock exhaust. Rewiring the fuel pump and also putting in a boost gauge. I already have the k&n in there and the motor and turbo are pretty fresh only 35,000 on both cause they were rebuilt. Also replacing my cv boots on the outer ends cause they have been ripped for a little while and whenever I turn hard it clicks cause all the grease is pretty much gone. You think I should just replace them with new axles??? Cause they are probably damaged somewhat by now but if they can last a while longer just with a boot replacement I would rather do that. Well anyways sorry for the ongoing ramblings and questions. Once I have all of the above completed on my car should I foresee a significant improvement over my performance now just with the bcs mod and filter???

Yup, you will pick up a little power and certainly be smiling for a few more weeks.....until you get used to it.

If you have been running the CVs dry for awhile you might just avoid future problems and replace the axles.

Just watch yourself putting so much on at once,, Try arranging it in phases so you can test and tune as you go because if you do to much then you might have a prob or noise that will take forever to diagnoss

good point pyro, I will definitely be making sure everything works sepearately before adding the next part. I will let you guys know how things go, should be getting my gauge and pad/rotors at the end of this week I would imagine. Got my new cd player in so I am finally riding around with some tunes!!! SUcked delivering ZA without a cd player. Was nice listening to the sounds of the motor and turbo though must admit. I will just be returning the boots to napa today and then start saving for some new axles. THanks for the input guys, appreciate it. :) One Happy DSMer over here.
