Extremepsi Intercooler ?

In the add at Extremepsi.com for their intercooler they state this:

"The fin height are 1/4 inch size, made for better cooling unlike most intercoolers which are 3/8 inch high."

But I don't understand how 1/4 is better for cooling, when 3/8 is bigger? Could someone explain this to me? Thanks.

ive never looked into there fmic but prostreetonline makes a realy nice kit, just as good as indy race core but with out the hasel of waiting a year to get it.

I emailed and asked them and they said: "it has better cooling because there are more small fins".

If that's the race core, I suggest not getting it. One of the guys from the shop is on his 2nd one from there and they both have leaked. The first one was leaking horribly from the core, the other one is leaking from the welds on the endtanks to the core. Try for the street core and see how well it holds.

Do you know what was leaking on the guys from the shop? Is it a bad core, or was it just the welds?

The core and part of the welds were leaking on his first one, and on this new one, the welds are leaking.
