yea, i listen to my honda friends, and consult with them before doing ANYTHING. if its not leaking, why would you crush it? do you know if its leaking? 1g or 2g? if ur 2g, u cant crush the 2g bov because to my understanding theyres alot of plastic parts, do an intake leak test, if it leaks, crush it in a vise while testing it with a mightyvac making sure not to crush it too much. i wouldnt listen to you friend, im sure somewhere he heard about crushing a bov, figured hed try to sound intelligent and tell you what needs to be done.

the 2g bov is a pile, the 2g bov also cannot be crushed. your best bet is to pickup a 1g bov on the trader or ebay, ive seen the 1g bov hold 25psi uncrushed. many with 2g's, 1 of theyre first mods is to switch to a 1g bov. if the 1g bov leaks, it can be crushed, but u wouldnt have a problem till at LEAST 18psi unless u got a messed 1, wich crushing can fix. tell your friend to stick with hon-duhs hehe :D

Can someone post a picture of a crushed bov, or more than one pic i want to see what they look like and how far to go if i do it

The vaccuum nipple will almost bottom out on the part of the bov under it. Everyones looks a little different when it is crushed correctly. Crush it with a MightVac on the nipple so that it begins to open at 18"hg or so.
