ok, right now the car is running with a frank jr 19c turbo and i plan on going to a pte 50trim or similar turbo around july. but for the time being i wanna get my front mount. heat soak sucks. what fmic kit would u recommend me get for now keeping in mind my future turbo? i know ill need to change the lower intercooler pipe when i switch turbos. but thats ok!

the 3 that ive been looking at are the following
irc(street or race??)
extreme psi
streetimports.

are tehre any online places that carry these(i know where to get the extrme psi, just need to know bout the irc and streetimports.)

if any of u have experience with any of these or any recommendations lmk. thanks

Yeah I was wondering that too, was thinking today if snow/excessive rain would fuck up a fmic?

Dejon Tools race kit
Extreme PSI race kit
IRC race kit

I don't think you could go wrong with either of these kits. Although I don't know if you could get a IRC kit as fast as the others.

If I had to pick, I'd get the extreme psi kit, looks like a really well made kit.

i think ive deided on the extremepsi kit. fast95eclipse where in CO are you? im in aurora. can u answer the question about front mounts and snow??????

As long as your not hitting chunks of ice or anything I think the fmic would be fine. But then I have no first hand experience from this.

VPE and Greddy fmic's are known to be damaged quite easily, they say the spearco cores can take a beating.

ya, it doesnt snow so much that theres a ton on the street very often and when it does, i usally just dont drive. it should be fine. any other opinions?????

I recently put my Greddy intercooler on so I wouldent know if the snow would damage it easy, probbly the best thing to do is just drive another car or something, I drive a probe for my beater :)

i figured id chime in, www.straightlinespecialties.com has the IRC street kit for 875$ shipped, dejontool.com has a nice race fmic kit, and slowboyracing.com has an extremely large nice fmic kit for much cheaper than the 1,000$ extremepsi race kit, and ep uses a larger fin height wich i havent heard much about.
