When we first did the one in my car around September of 2000 we used fiberglass to renforce the original plastic and to make it pressfit tight enough. I don't have a picture of it that I can find readily but there is a good pic of it on the super street sight.

I put a vent above it so that the A/C would still be somewhat functional.

Hope that helps

the Former Widebody:(

First widebody what happened to your car?

Second how did you make the vent part above the S-AFC, or where did you get it?

Well......

I sold the car to someone in Hawaii, I couldn't justify what I was spending on the car anymore and the show scene was getting a little too un-fun....if thats a word. I think the nail in the coffin was when I did FF2 and didn't get the amount of screne time I was told my car should get. Anyway the vent was just an open screen, when you remove the HVAC piece from behind the plastic it will leave a big open vent, I just routed a plastic dryer duct tube taped to the hard plastic a/c duct to the area where the vent in the custom enclosure was, it wasn't perfect but worked up until the time I pulled the A/C off the car.

later
