First of all, i just installed my DP and catback exh and i love it.:D Ok it's been raining all day down here in jersey, well i'm going home from work tonight and i saw two bright headlights behind me and i was slowing down to stop at this traffic light cause it was turning from yellow to red.all of a sudden both those cars splitted me and i looked at both sides just to find out two midly hooked up hondas one is a 95-99 bodystyle civic and the other one is 90-94 bodystyle accord. Both dropped, fake HIDs,rims and exh.We r all looking at each other and we started reving our eng and they kept creeping forward and the roads were wet.Light turns green we all punched it wheel spin from all of us but mine was HORRIBLE.Wheel spin through out 1st to 3rd but i shifted to 4th quickly to get traction but the civic had about 3 cl and the accord had about 21/2 cl on me but i downshifted back to 3rd when i hooked up and i caught up to them and passed them like they were standing still:takethat: They really thought they had me and i also gave them a little bit of BOV.U should have seen the look on thier faces but they were cool though cause they said "what's up" and gave me thumbs up.No ricer fly by like usual honda drivers but they just cruise and we all went our seperate ways.:D

yeah that's just asking for trouble. Just picture your wheels destroyed after sliding into a curb... or worse

I also agree but it wasn't raining though, it was just wet.

I think thats what they were referring to (water on ground = bad) :) . Also thank you to whoever deleted that gay TT c5 GSX kill.

Maybe they stoped racing though? I mean a full 3rd gear pull in the rain eh... So maybe you did the ricer flyby :)

Ha.. that's funny but nah they were still racing that's why i had to downshift to catch up and pass them.Right after that they shutdown and i also did. I can't let a DSM loose to two hondas like that.. I had to handle some buissnes.:)

Yeah i was just joking about the flyby thing. You need new tires dude what are you running? If you got the stcok 205's on than that would be a good upgrade forsure. I got 235's on my AWD and spin the backs now and than.

Ahh, don't race in the rain. That's just plain stupid. Yeah so what these guys were trying to rep, thing is you have to think about your own shit, hydroplaning into a curb sucks. By the way You down shifted and with HORRIBLE wheel spin you still burned em. Naa they got off and you did a ricer fly by. That sucks...

Im just messin with you man. Just be careful on wet streets!

 As if driving in Jersey wasn't bad enough. You got these Jack asses racing on a wet road.

Great story.
Take it easy dude, it wasn't really a high speed race.I've seen worse, i've seen people racing on the highway while it was wet. This was just from a light and we shutdown right after i won:p .

its funny cause this guy intown has a slow gsx, not sure why its slow, but he loses to a factory stratus r/t that my friend has, i mean the r/t catches him by 55 or so, but he thinks hes the shit cause he can spin the tires a lil from a dig, but its funny cuz he has like 195s that are bald as hell.... dont know why i posted that just thought that i would throw it in.

My car came with 205 continental tires but they r brand new though. I don't know when the previous owner put them on but they have full threads on them. They r alright in the dry and also when it's wet but when i installed my DP and Catback exh the boost kicks in so fast and hard that's why now it sucks in the rain.

Yeah Hydroplaning is bad. I was coming down a pretty twisty road out of Hollywood into the Valley in LA. It hadn't rained but the roads were real damp just enough to send me sliding into a big tall curb. I wasn't going to fast but just fast enought to loose traction. I was pretty young, so I got really freaked out and slammed/locked up the breaks instead of down shifting and grabbing some throttle. That beat the shit out of my suspension.
