which front end do you think looks the best out of those? i want a clean look - YES i relize i have a 2g dsm, one of the few cars that can retain the stock body kit and look better then most of the cars on the showroom - however IF i had a turbo eclipse, id leave it stock and do performance, but since i dont have turbo my car=soon to be sho car - so gettin back to the point.. sensi, street fighter or drift?

I think the first one looks better, needs fog lamps though.

If you're going to do the whole body kit thing, make sure to get the rest of the kit (or another one). A front end without the side skirts looks retarded because the front end will end up 2-3 inches lower. Don't get too ricey though.. make it look clean... total rice = total garbage. So stay away from the stupid looking aluminum wings etc..:)

I would say either of the last two(same two I am look at replacing my beat up 95 bumper).

The only reason I would not go with the drift is that the drift is a squarer front end, which is why it look ok on 1gens, yet on a 2gen the body lines are to curved IMO to match up good with the drift kit.

The street figher look real good, just look at green streak's car. It most likely IMO the flashier of the three, yet still lad back.

The sensi is more of the evo look to it and seem to ok with the body lines of the car, I been trying to find more pictures of the bumper to get a better opinoin of the bumper.

Hope that helps

i had the sensei on my 2g, they look so nice, but it liked to scrape the roads at every chance it got. you really have to watch where you pull into. i had a big frontmount that filled the whole opening too and it looked killer.

make your own.. it annoys me now that people buy a premade kit to go for a custom look:eek:

if I had to choose one, I'd possibly pick the first one... no matter what combination of front/rear/skirts you go with, it's already been done.

Have you seen some of the homemade body kits...?

although he does sound smart enough to not go cheap :D My vote's in for the street fighter, then the drift. Here's my advice from experience; make sure you pay for a good quality one with a name brand (aerogear is supposed to fit near perfect). Seeing as how nothing now is name brand, you just have to find the right company, especially ones that call the kit what it is.

LMAO, perhaps I shoudl ahve told him to learn how to 'glass his own bumper and have some taste while building the new one first:p

also spoolin95gsx has a point, don't go cheap on your shit or else you will have some horrid fitting stuff.. like the Bomex replica my friend bought for his hatch(he sold it off it looks normal now, doesn't plan on a kit anymore either) the rear bumper was a good 6inches too wide for the car.. just somethin for you to think about when going to purchase a kit.;)

Which reminds me, you might want to look into the bomex kit. It was what I was going to buy instead of my '97 conversion back in the day. And Bomex is one of the few original name brand kit companies left. My friend has one for his rx-7 and it came primered and all the holes drilled for fitment. You'll pay the same for almost every kit, seeing as how you'll get charged to get a cheaper kit made, which would make you break even if you chose to buy the real kit.

First one, definately. Still flows well with the whole 2g body. The sides look kinda like the blitz kit which is gay, but the main face looks good.

another sensei pic

yes im gettig sides/rear - either low blitz or buddy club 2 or this other one i cant think of, and prob a borin everyday blitz rear. no stickers, o wing other then my stock shit - if i change my wing it will be a turbo stock one. etc etc.. just a clean show car is what im going for.

the sensei is a super clean look IMO - but right now im leaning towards the street fighter, i used to hate the big evo ights, like the sensei but i still think they are a tad big.

what are some good companies for kits? no bomex, too much... i know all the big name sites - extreme dimenstions, import fan etc etc etc.. how can i tell if they have quality shit ?

well since we are on the subjuct of front bumpers.

My 95 front end is dieing on me, and I need to replace it. I was going to do the 97-99 swap but to get a good 97-99 end is almost 300 to 400 and I got a friend who can get my bodykits for cheap(all I really want it the front bumper). I want to know what people think is a good looking front bumper, as in clean and not to ricer. The biggest factor is that I am installing a FMIC, in the next few months(hopefully, if not by next summer) and I want a large enough opening.

I am thinking about either the sensi, or the street fighter. I like the design of the bomex but I think just the front bumper of the bomex would look stupid and I hate the back bumper, plus I want my Talon lights:D .

any ideas. Thanks
