Its time for a fmic on my 90 Plymouth Laser....I have done much

looking and have narrowed it down most likely to the Buschur

racing front mount or Road Race Engineering front mount.....Im

thinking the buschur out of the two, but any opinions would help

thanks

ps. does anyone know the flow #s for the buschur?

Ive got the Buschur racing street core. 24"x 7.9" x 3.5", pollished with pollished 2.5" s/s piping. Couldnt be any happier with it. Looks beautiful, and every DSM'er, Supra, or RX-7 owner I have ever met has complimented on it.:D

Go Buschur:tree:

I have heard these FMIC's are awesome..

extreme psi

I have looked at the extreme psi kit.....but i have AC on my car

and is converted to R134.....it doesnt look like you could run two

fans with this kit...........is this true?

thanks

You can keep your AC.. Just get a spal slim fan.. I think extreme psi sells them too.. If you don't see them on the site, e-mail them. They have greah customer service.

Slowboy also sells an awesome kit. It is bigger than the Extreme Psi kit. That and Mike Huml is a great guy to deal with. This is the kit I planned on buying in Nov. but my car died..

I am keeping my AC (which is converted to 134) ......so i need a kit

that will allow two fans to keep the head pressure down......

buschur is the only one ive seen with two fans and im not sure if

the SPAL slim fans will pull enough air to keep the condensor cool

during the summer in Texas with 100% humidity

extremepsi no longer sells the race cores, theyre street core setup is very nice, buschur has a nice setup but pricey last i checked, spearco cores from diamondstarmotorsport.com are a very nice setup as well. Dejon/dsmparts (dsmparts just sells dejons) is nice, but im not a fan of theyre piping wich im not gonna go into.

Buschur
Spearco
Extremepsi/Straightlinespecialties (sell same kit)
Dejon/Dsmparts (same kit)

are all nice fmic setups.

Ive pretty much decided on the buschur, because the spearco kits

hang below the bumper......but i need to find out from someone

with the buschur kit w/AC , if overheating is an issue using the

SPAL fans over the stock ones.

thanks

spearco dont hang below the bumper? SBR's does but not spearco's. the spearco setups nate sells are copied from buschurs setup.

FMIC
looks like a nice setup, alot of money though, what about if i have a hks ssq? they dont have a flange for that one

i like the road race fmic because it still uses the stock routed intake pipes. this is good for me because i have a dejon blow through maf setup, and i really don't feel like getting rid of that.

dejon sells a UICP for a FMIC for the blow thru, thing i dislike about RRE's is the LONG piping.
