Jesse - not bad for a 1.8L!!
Killed a Black Honda Civic, Riced out, going 120mph in a 65 highway with heavy traffic (Had me on top speed, but I am a pretty good driver, and have done so many mountain roads, I know how fast I can swerve and turn) After the race, we pulled off the highway (Me and my female 'assistant' next to me) and he pulls up nest to me, and thumps out his stereo. I turn mine up, and he gives up on that, he didnt have enough cash to buy sound system after the chrome rims, tint, and muffler tips

. So then I motion to turn the stereos off. He yells that I got nothin on him, and my reply was simple "You may have a faster car, but I won because you dont know how to drive. Your car may be newer, but your sound system sucks, and you didnt get the girl." To which she wasnt my girfriend at the time, but she is now - and she was a stang' lover too, but now she likes the Turbo DSMs...
Second good kill was vs a 69 SS Camaro in downtown at about 11pm at night... It was white. Gorgeous car. I pull up at the light, and he pulls up next to me (The road is only 1 lane each way, because there is parking so it's a wide lane, but at the light it was car free, so temp 2 lane) I always loved Old camaros, so I roll down the window and start chattin with the guy. He's pretty friendly, talkin and whatnot, he's got a huge engine and more HP then my car could take, but he says, "You got a good lookin car, and you seem to be the fellow that wont turn down a challenge. Wanna try to beat me?" I took it. Right off the line he had me beat, I have an AT, so I knew his M/T would get me. So I was tailing him tight, keeping the pedal to the floor, with no more then a car length between us and slowly growing. I knew I'd loose. Then a car comes up infront of him, turning from a side road, and he brakes. We're both going 60 or so, and there's a yellow line to my left side, him infront of me, a car infront of him, and cars on the right curb, I think "is it wide enough?" I instantly swerve and slide in, with no more then 6" on each side from hitting something. The look on his face was good, the look on the Toyota that I shot by was priceless. Next light, about another 1/4 mile away, I take it easy, so he can catch up. He gives me a congrats on a great win, and tells me that I pulled a good move there, that there's no way he could have fit in that spot. I wasnt totally sure that I could make it, but the 90% was good enough. So a 69 SS was my second good kill.
Next good kill unfortunatly was not driving my 92 Talon, but my mom's 98 Grand Prix GTP. 4 Door Black Sedan. At a light, up pulls a ford probe GT with a dude in the driver seat that looks like he thinks he's the man... his sound system is second to none, but the premium system in the Grand Prix is good enough that I dont need to listen to the crap he's listenin too. With the windows rolled up I can hear him rev his engine, he's got it to redline, he wants to race. I dont rev, I laugh at him, and he looks pissed. The light turns green, and both of us peel, his stick first. My nose is half way down his side, he's got a small lead, and I watch the supercharger max out, the flick off the traction control, and floor it, and within the next 200 yards, I had atleast 3 car lengths on him. He got his ass handed to him by a sedan. That was funny.
Then the most recent. Not the best one, but good enough. So good, I didnt even need to go past 50mph! It's at your usual light, rainy, slick roads, and we're pointing uphill. Up next to me comes a late 80's firebird, all riced out. Seriously riced out. It looks pathetic. The paint is crap, but the chrome rims are big - too big - the tires are a sheet of rubber, and blue headlights, vynl decals and all - it looks sad. Off the light we go, and not even 50 feet out, he hits a BIG pothole. We were totally even, but I watch in the side window as his car sinks, and slams down. I pulled off the road to the side, left on my hazard lights, and walked back the 20 feet to his car in the rain. He's out swearing, and starts swearing at me as I come up. His tire is blown, the rim is bent to all hell, and it's actually pushing into the body. The rim was so big it fell in and hit the lip and stuck- and the car kept going. He probably had axle damage as well. Not pretty looking. He's swearing at me of how he's gonna sue me and how it's my fault. I just look back at him, this little round kid, about 17, trying to talk trash, and it's not working. I told him to shut up, and he did. "Racing is illegal. Lookin at this accident, every cop and insurance agent is gonna know you were going atleast 45 and it's a 30 zone. In bad weather too. It's very obvious. And there's nothing to say I was racing, not to mention I dont even have to stay here. It's not my fault you didnt look at the road and see that pothole. Not my fault your tires dont actually do anything, and your suspension is so low you couldnt get back out. It's not my fault your car is f%$*ed." I take out my cell phone, "Now, you wanna call someone, or you wanna sit in the rain?" I gave him the phone, and he called his older brother. They were talking and he was getting a little teary eyed, and then he hands the phone to me. He wanted to be sure the kid was okay and that nobody else was hurt. Asked me if I could stay till he got there, and I said I would. So I stood there, got out my jack and his, and he pulled the car out of the pothole, and stood there in the rain, I gave the kid some help, and his brother came a few minuites later in a pickup truck with a flat trailer. I helped them get it onto that, and his brother hit him good upside the head for being dumb. He then thanked me for not calling the cops on his brother, and gave me $5 for letting him use the cell phone and off he went. Not a nice kill no, but one of stupidity that he tried to race when he should have known better, and watched the road, that pothole was about 5 feet in diamter, most of it only an inch deep, but the part he hit was 5" deep. A sad story, but it proves again giving a brand new driver a lot of muscle and an ego is a terrible thing to do.
More kills to come!
