Ok, first off. Relative mods I Run are FP GREEn, Tial Hybrid External Dump, greddy type S bov, and S-AFC and hallman MBC
I went to the Doctor, and car was boosting fine, when i got in car leaving, my car wouldnt boost, and hasnt since then. I am getting 0 psi. I dont hear any boost leaks, I figure one big enough to cuase me to produce 0 boost would be pretty loud. I do not here my wastegate dumping any exhaust, which is also loud. Nor do I here my turbo spooling. I pulled off intake, and turbo has no shaft play, and it spins freely. I checked Karman readings via S-AFC, and thats registering, so its not that my MAS is broken. I cant figure out what this could be. I will double check for a huge boost leak today, but im sure i would still here my turbo spooling, and exhaust dumping. IS it possible MBC is stuck? or broken? Somebdy reccomeneded i check bov, but if it was my bov, i would still here turbo spooling and exhaust dumping right? Any info would really help Thanks

well while im checking for boost leak, i mays well satrt it and see if turbine wheel is spinning....should it spin at all at idle?

Compressor side may be there, but if the exhaust side was "missing" it wouldnt be spining.

However if that were the case I think the cause would have been an event he definately would have noticed.

yeah i think that would have made a big noise or something, but its entirely possible, guess when all else fails, i take the exhaust manifold off.

yea he def. would have noticied it but i was stumped and couldnt think of anything to trouble shoot with. i was saying if the turbine wheel lost its blades and they went out with the exhaust then it compressor wheel should still spin. If it doesnt spin with the car running then ya found you're problem. thats one nasty manufacturing defect though if that happened.

Replied to your post on nyccdsm.

Any scuff marks on the compressor housing?

Did you check for your boost leak yet?

Is your boost gauge even moving? Has the reading changed since it stopped boosting?

If the turbo does spin freely check your external. Maybe it's staying slightly open?

Hope it's something stupid and not the turbo.

Is it possible for your wastegate to be stuck open?

alright problem solved......well it jsut got upgraded to a bigger problem...haha.
I go down to my shop today(father owns repair shop and hates turbos) and
1) take off intake, turbo spins freely.
2) start car look at turbo....spun half way around and stopped....
3) get it to "break free" by hand, start it and repeated step 2
4) cold side of turbo is hitting compressor f*&k me!
5) put car back together drive away
6) turbo is spooling...and faster and smoother than EVER! LIKE NEW!
7) Car still doggy, turbo wont go past 10psi
8) I determined, that my turbo was slowly going bad, and i didnt realize it. I noticed car was slower, but thought tuning was an issue. I will call Forced Performance about rebuilding my FPgreen, or maybe trade in for a FP3065
-Thanks for the insight guys
