Hi my name is Dan and im new here. I have been looking on here for a while and have to ask a question that is bothering me. When we are at Keystone Raceway here in New Alexandria , PA on the import night there was a red 1st gen with the popups that managed a handful of consistent 10.5x runs. but on his last run that i saw he ran a 10.04. i cant remember the traps but they were fast. needless to say he won the contest. i was just wondering if anyone knew this person, what he has done, etc. If not the track opens in like 22 days and if he is there i will find out and post a mods list.

Thanks and see you around,
Dan

P.S. I'll also be in the market for a 1st gen AWD soon

If I was that 10.04 guy I would my do damnest to find a way to drop another .05! Still, that is haulin' ass!

You are talking about Curt Brown's car. I've heard he's running a FP Red with some tweaks, and he also runs a MAS that he supposedly designed himself. He has the AWD in the low low 10s, and he has a fwd that isn't far behind that.

Sounds sweet!

Yep, sure sounds like Curt's car to me. I used to live in Gbg, so I visited Keystone, oops... I guess I mean Pittsburgh Raceway Park a good bit. I would like to check out opening day, the track looks awesome from their website.

Perhaps it's someone Mike Huml would know. Or even him for that matter. I know he's out in that area first of all, and although he has the grey 1g, didn't that pretty much burn to the ground a couple months ago? If he got a new car to replace it, perhaps it was the red one you saw.

But if you guys know that Curt lives in the western part of the state then it's probably him.

I was just checking out FP's website and stumbled upon this, FP Hall Of Fame. Curt's at #5 with an outdated 10.34, and that time was actually from Keystone. According to the dsm times site, 9.870 from Maple Grove is his current best. I can't wait to check his car out at Keystone in person.
