About 8 years ago I ran 12.4@110 on the 14b stock weight AWD TSI 1992 Talon. Boost was 21+ PSI. 16 PSI is not going to do it, sounds like you have a boost leak, weak turbo or other issue.

My time slip looked like this:

60-1.75
330-5.1
1/8 7.9@86.5
1000-10.4
1/4 12.4@110

You look really weak in the 1/8 mile, either bad shifting or wheel spin or you're reving too far.

Definately not a boost leak. Tested it at 22+psi about 2 weeks ago. Turbo can be week, but I doubt it. Has zero shaft play and dosent blow smoke.

I think its part shifting and part revving too far. Im not really spinning at all.
"It will hold 20psi until about 5500 and then steadily drops to 15/16 by redline"

You should be able to get more than 15-16 PSI on a 14b at redline, perhaps you have a cracked exhaust mani or an exhaust leak before the turbo?

Depends upon your MBC, I can and did hold 20-21 PSI on my 14b to redline with my own homemade MBC.

If he has cams that's what is probably slowing down his 1/8 mile and still giving him a fairly decent 1/4 MPH trap but a poor ET.

Do you have NLTS in that chipped ECU? It helps keep the turbo spooled between shifts.
That's really not a big deal. I ran my 12.4@110 on the 14b granny shifting 1-2 & 2-3 due to a really bad tranny. The 14b is small enough where it's boost recovery between shifts is fast anyhow.

Even though he had a decent 60 ft he's killing his ET even before the 1/8 mile marker basically.

So where exactly do I need to improve then? Im not sure where Im at gear wise at the 1/8th mark.
I'm not sure what is going on but you have a lot of mods over what my 14b setup had...with your front mount, electronic control, cams, injectors, all those extra mods and you are trapping/ETing a lot slower as well as falling down in the 1/8 tells me something is wrong.

Even if it was your shifting you should still trap higher than 82/107.

What are you running for gas? Are you getting knock? I ran a mix of 110/116 for my 12.4@110 and mind you tha was with a full weight car still had A/C all options, minimal mods, no fuel control. I pulled 21+ PSI to redline, if you're falling to 15/16 you are losing power big time.

I guess it can have alot to do with the tune as well. I dont have a whole lot of experience, but the car runs 'OK'.

I was running straight 93 octane pump. I only logged on a couple runs, but no real noticable knock. A few blip counts here and there, but nothing that seemed harmful to me. My car is still full weight as well, minus A/C. As far as falling boost, I have no idea really. Im thinking maybe the turbo is just week.

I may hit the track one more time this year and play with the tune and shift points some. Either way though, I have an EVOIII that I am going to install next year. That, plus a dyno tune, should help me out alot.

Thanks for the opinions/help guys.
Ah ha. Herein lies the problem.

93 pump gas is not going to do it for a 14b.

Run 110 and crank the boost, 20+ PSI and you'll shave a half second off and gain 4~ MPH. Your setup has the potential to run low 12's @ 110+ MPH with enough boost and good gas.
