I am wondering what the 13g record is. I have a track only build. 91 auto awd. I have been stripping it down haven't weighed it yet though.
So far taken out pretty much everything behind doors. Passenger seat, front and rear bumper supports,sway bars,only running 3 inch downpipe. Abs deleted ,air deleted but stil have heater in car. Cruise control and all pollution stuff deleted. Odessy 680 battery. Drivers fan deleted. Horn deleted,wipers deleted. Washer reservoirs deleted.
For current mods on the car have the 3 inch downpipe no cat and no catback. Have k and n filter 1g maf ,supra tt pump, adjustable fuel reg and dsmlink. Stock 390 injectors.
Stock trans stock stall.
So curious what the current record is for a 13g car?
I have been reading a few tricks to getting an auto to go thru the quarter and hoping to try them this Sunday last track day this year but car was only ready now.
Well would have been next year if waiting for the big mods but figured might as well have some fun first with the 13g.
So what boost do you think I can get out of the 13g. Will the stock headgasket and studs be ok to 15 or 17??Doubt the 13g will go much higher?
I have arp head studs not installed. I have stock headgasket. I am keeping my timing stock running 94 e10 with likely xylene should be around 100 octane.No alc/meth injection. Stock sidemount intercooler.
So any tips and tricks and anyone know what to expect for times. I am on street 17 inch goodyear rsas Track is 1600 above sea level. Track will be unprepped but don't think that will matter at these power levels and being awd. I have practiced some launches in driveway and got it to boost like 15psi just brake boosting. So figure should get a decent 60ft??
Next year plan the big mods..stall ,shift kit, tcu chipping. 1150 injectors, move my fp3065 from my 97 over to the 91. jm race smim. big intercooler. Possily alc/meth injection possibly direct port nitrous.
Hoping for 10s next year. Rollbar race seat maybe carbon fiber hood planned. Think that is about it for weight reduction.
