I like the car more than the rims ;).

I HATE 8-spoke rims, don't know why. Those Motegis, however look pretty good. Just wish they were 10-spoke.

Absolutely gorgeous. I'd rock that car, dirty or not, in a heartbeat. I've always loved the 1GB Talon AWD's.

I think it looks good. Just paint that trim piece like said above. :) I also run 18's on my 1g. Only certain 18's can actually look decent.

thanks guys... i know i really need to fix the paint, and the trim..... i think im going to paint the trim soon deff. but the car is expensive.... i keep hearing that macco dose a real cracker jack job... and if its getting done it better look dman good. I was thinking of sticking with the stock white, but hitting it with like a white pearl. I to absolutly hated the 8 spokes, then i put them on insted of my ghetto stock mitsu. rims.... BIG difference

suggestions, comments?

Nobody is saying paint the entire car. They said jsut paint the little black strip under the passenger side window that is starting to peel off an turn silver. I am not sure what the material is, but I am sure you can paint it yourself quite easily. Just tape off everything around it and sand it down and paint it black.

As for the rest of the car, look for someone local who does buffing/waxing. You will be suprised at how well a car can look when it is properly washed/buffed/waxed. The car will look like a whole new car.

The rims do look fine on the car. I have never been a fan of 18's on 1g's, but yours work. I think with some detail work and a better picture, the car would look much better.

For some reason I just don't dig how 1g's look with bigger rims and low profile tires. I like this one though. The rims aren't too flashy or over to top and appear to work well with the car.

I can't get over how B.A. 16's with big, meaty, aggressive tires look on first gens though.

I see what you are saying about the paint the silver part black again, and I have been looking for something every time i walk into a store that might have it. I just dont want to buy a cheap paint but come spring, it will be done. Also it is already lowered by i think 2inches? its the megen racing lowering kit, I am now looking into getting a struts, maybe that will drop it a little more? but for now, those wheels are off and im debating if i want those or a nice set of 16-17" just because the 18's have a hard ride to them. (girls don't like a rough ride.... lol)

I wouldn't drop it more! It's perfect the way it sits there!

I really like them rims on your car it flows nicely with it.

To make your car look alot better is painting the trim black, 20% tint all around, clean them headlights, a nice bath, buff/wax, and some detailing. :)
