Hey everyone....i got this from the group buy through speed factor. I received the intercooler last week and the hardware kit a couple days ago. The piping and fitment are second to none. Actually the fit of the core and bumper is so tight (in a good way) that right now i dont even have the bumper support on the car. The bumper stays in place without it  The core of this kit is as big as it can get without having to hack away most of the actual bumper itself. It fills the ENTIRE fascia opening.

Ill get some impressions and pictures up ASAP. Im sure it wont dissapoint.

But i just wanted everyone to know that these kits are top quality. And my overall expereince with both ADFX and Martin over at the speed factor were great. Id buy from either again.
Good luck to those still awaiting their kits. Its worth the wait!
:D

Yeah, I had a great experience with Martin and The Speed Factor. I sent him a money order and got the whole kit a week later. I had sent him an email to get an estimate of how long I would be waiting, because I thought it would be a few weeks. He got back to me with the tracking number and the thing was delivered the next day. I was pretty surprised. The kit is very nice, the core is HUGE. I am in the middle of a major suspension and brake project, so the FMIC will have to wait a few weeks. Post some pics when you get yours all together.

i just got mine installed last week, i'll post some pics soon. install was easy(as far as 1g fmic's go anyway) and took me about 5 hours total. i also left out the stock bumper and ripped out all the ac components(since it didn't work anyway). the only problems i had was with trying to use the stock bolts to mount the j pipe to my 16g, the one closer to the engine is a bitch! i ended up stripping it out, drilling it out and tapping it for a 5/16 bolt that i could tighten with a large flat blade screwdriver. also i paid extra for the t bolt clamps which seemed to be more suited for a 2.75" od pipe, by the time they started to get tight the bolt would bottom out in the socket, nothing a sawzall can't fix though! if you got the t bolts you'll see what i mean. all in all a great deal, i would definetely do buisness with martin again.

ADFX FMIC pics

Here are some pics of the ADFX kit on my car. I got the kit last Novemeber during a group buy also. I am very happy with the kit. I just removed the front bumper all together, a/c and power steering cooler to make the installation easier. I think it performs very well. Even on hot summer days the intake side would be hot but the exit side would be nice and cool. On cool days even my piping is nice and cold and the intake manifold is just slightly warm. Talk about great cooling. I really like this kit, plus it is huge and looks mean.:D

LOL, Thanks man!

If anyone has any more questions or has a request for pictures of the piping I will be glad to answer them or post more pics since I have had this kit for about a year now. I think I was one of the first people to get it when it first came out. I don't know for sure though.

AWDTSI,

Those silver 5 star wheels add so much character to the car! Most people would hate them but I think they are perfect. Side view = plain 1g, front view = :hail:

The kits is awesome and we have had nothing but positive feed back from the people that have received theres. all the rest of the kits will be out by weds so hopefully soon we'll see a lot of pictures and reviews.

as an update to this kit. I have had my first core blow the rear passenger side weld, and after fighting for a month and a half finally got a new core. I am now stuck in a huge battle over the core charge which i wont go into. I take back any recommendations that I previously made about the quality of this kit and i would HIGHLY recommend buying your kit elsewhere.

On the upside I have been doing all of this dealing through The Speed Factor, who i originally made the purchase from. Even though Martin and his company had no further money coming out of the deal, they have out of this world customer support. I have already placed follow up orders with them due to great pricing and support. Two Big Thumbs up for The Speed Factor.

Cliff notes:
ADFX blows
The Speed Factor rocks

Thank you Very Much. I must say though ADFX has been undergoing a HUGE restructuring. not much else to be said. We do try to keep these kits in stock and the endtank base has been updated so there will be no more blow outs.

Thanks again for the kind words. That means more to us than anything else!
