Okay well after browsing the internet for data loggers, I figured out I have most the stuff for a data logger right at home! My nifty palm m100 and 2 hotsync cables. So I've seen the Datalogger wiring schem, and to be honest, im lost. What would I need to buy from radioshack to hook this up? I know some kinda of interface between my palm cable and the Diagnostic port, I know the basics of soldering, but thats where my electronic knowledge stops. Any insight could be helpful ie: Connectors needed, where to solder what...Thanks! :D

You will need a 3 wire seriol (SP) cable (for the diagnostic port in the car) and a cable for the palm that is a seriol cable. That or make things easy and poke around on ebay and fine a cable for your palm. You will come out about the same on price. I think I got mine that has the M500 plug on it and the diagnostic plug on the other end with my software for $35 bucks or so shipped and that saves you the headaces.

Here.. I acually found the guy on ebay for you. He builds them spacfic for your palm.

I was looking at those earlier. See my thread in the newbie section. I found a few from 6 bucks, 17 bucks and that last one you posted up. Guess I'll spend the 30 or so and get the cable. Thanks for the help.
