I have recently purchased a 95 tsi with a blown engine and I have plans to put the engine that is in my 90 into this new car. I had noticed that the intake mannifold on the two cars are diffrent. Can the one off of my 1g be used in the 2g car.

This was just asked last week. Do you know how to use the search key??

If you have a 1g 6bolt, just use the head off that to avoid any extra work. Then the intake manifold will just bolt right up. Its supposedly a better flowing head anyway.

It is a better flowing head. The 2g head gives you a bit more low end torque is the major difference and the only reason they did that was because of the little hairdryer they put on the 2g's.

the 2g has a 6 bolt in it all ready will my 1g six bolt just bolt right up. Like can I take the engine out of my 1g with the intake mannifold, exhaust mannifold and all the other stuff that is bolted on to the engine and drop it right in a 2g?

What about a 1G head with the proper portwork?
Really! Either compare stock to stock, or worked to worked. C'mon now.
