I have recently purchased a 95 tsi with a blown engine and I have plans to put the engine that is in my 90 into this new car. I had noticed that the intake mannifold on the two cars are diffrent. Can the one off of my 1g be used in the 2g car.
This was just asked last week. Do you know how to use the search key??BlackedOut said:I have recently purchased a 95 tsi with a blown engine and I have plans to put the engine that is in my 90 into this new car. It is a better flowing head. The 2g head gives you a bit more low end torque is the major difference and the only reason they did that was because of the little hairdryer they put on the 2g's.turbolover said:If you have a 1g 6bolt, just use the head off that to avoid any extra work. Then the intake manifold will just bolt right up. Its supposedly a better flowing head anyway.
What about a 1G head with the proper portwork?gota0have0boost said:The 2g heads were designed better, and with the proper port work will outflow a 1g head hands down.
Really! Either compare stock to stock, or worked to worked. C'mon now.RippinGSX said:What about a 1G head with the proper portwork?
