a bare block would be less than 150lbs ,cause i can pick one up no problem

 

what about getting one that already has been built up with rods and pistons and bearings? i can install the engine but i have no clue on building the block up. i also have someone porting my head...but my deal isnt going so smooth for the block i wanted so im needing to find another one. anyone?

 

built, i would guess around 160lbs
i can find you a block for pretty cheap depending on what you are wanting.2.0 , 2.4 , from the yard, already machined,etc....
if you want a bare block then i have one ready to go if you want to buy it

 

Yeah. They're pretty light. I'd guess 150-160 pounds also; I could lift it up no problem and I'm a little guy. Hah.

 

Hey MrRide, how much are you asking for a bare block? Do you have the internals as well? I am asking because my buddy just blew his out of a 99' GSX.
