when my head got messed up i just had it rebuilt. i went with the buschur stage 2 head.

 

definitely rebuild...should cost you about $65-100 in machine shop costs. valves are usually about $15.

Where can you get stock valves? The only place that I can find that lists valves on the net has the high performance stainless steel for about $320. Thanks.

 

RRE has SS stock sized valves for 225 a set.. they are better and cheaper than mitsu stock ones..But if you only need 9 then replace them.. Mine bent 14.. so im just replacing them all or probably getting another head.

unless you have a balancer you wont know exactly how many valves you have bent...and they are a pain in the ass to change...I would recomend taking it to a machine shop after you have it bare...let them take out all the valves and grind them and check to see what is straight and what is not..I took mine in thinking 4 bent valves and turned out to be 14...so dont take chances..you are also looking at about 150.00 for felpro gasket set..and OEM valves around 10-12 bucks each...
