Hey i got my act2600 put in and im past the break in. I launched it wow it was awsome. Anyways i was in a parking lot with some snow in places.... Well i did a launch. It went from snow to road to snow (u get the picture) my tires were squealing. anywasy the point was is going from the sno to the road sorta dry pavement then to snow. Is this setting up conditions for wheelhop?

I don't really understand your question.

If you get wheelhop, you will know.

It is possible if you are "launching" using your new grippy clutch going from a slick surface to pavement, that feeling is exaggerated.

But you have AWD, so it will be greatly cushioned/transferred anyway. Nothing like FWD.... hehe... anyway, if the car starts "stammering" or "jarring" and you can feel it hesitate, you could be getting some mild wheelhop.

It's been my experience that when you get wheelhop - it feels exactly as it's called, my frontend starts hoping up and down and just by the feeling you know its bad. It feels like my frontend is slamming up and down real fast while I launch.

When you car was "stammering" or "jarring" did you notice the car physically bouncing up and down?

I got bad wheelhop on my AWD. Feels and sounds like someone is under my car hitting it with a sledgehammer... ;) The car still took off fine as my 1.8 sixty foots showed, but it felt bad for the car. And it was. One night I launched and got a "hop-hop-snap"... 700 dollars later I have a 4 spider gear center diff ;) So if my solid motor mounts and adjustable suspension dont prevent it, it wont break anything. Well, the diff anyway... :) Now I have enough power that I rarely get wheelhop, now its wheel spin...
