I have a legacy 2 channel amplifer and 2 12 inch subs, the subs are 4 ohm each and my amp says that bridged it's 4-8 ohms, I was wondering if I could bridge both subs into 1 channel and not hurt my amp? Or will it fry it?

Just run one speaker per channel and save yourself the headackes. Not to knock on your setup but legacy amps are not the most stable amps or best choice. If you bridge the amp you are just going to over heat the amp or blow something up. Plus it is not going to run clean and more distortion. So keep it at one channel per speaker and keep the gain level down.

listen. keep the ohms where they are supposed to be. If the amp reads that bridged is 4 ohms, run the speakers at 4. dont go lower. but see what ur amp will handle. (in stereo). maybe that would be a better bet. like he said, less headaches. I got 4 JL 12w6's runnin off of 2 fosgate 800a2s in stereo, and it sounds CRAZY

I got it to hit harder, I just recently bought the amp to replace and old one, and it wasn't hittin very hard and I wondered what I could do to get it to hit harder, I got in there and turned up the frequency a little and the subs hit much harder now, thanks

or you could go buy a better amp...My legacy fried after just 3 months! Those things are trash. Im not crazy for my sony xplode 1000w amp but its damn good compared to my old legacy.

Yeah, I would avoid the Legacy and find a better amp that is capable of multiple wiring options.
