alright when i got the exhuast it came with the silencer in, and i took it out right away( was kinda hard ). i drove around with lots of boost creep for a while, and didnt like the creep, so i went to put the silencer back in, and it didnt want to go in. i just forgot about and drove around more. finally said OK im gonna get it in. i got it in and it was very tuff ( tight fitting ) now i want to take it back out and IT WONT COME OUT for anything.

any1 having similiar problems? or know of a good way(s) to get it out or fix it?

Find something long like a screwdriver but with a hook or curve on the end,and put it in and pull on it hard,it may take awhile but the silencer will come out. Then if u can get it out a little you can grab the end of it with some vice-grips and work it out.

If i were in that situation i would go out and drive it till the exhuast got really hot boosting it alot. Then drive home get some ice and pliers. Cool the silencer with the ice so that the exhaust is still slightly expanded and the silencer isnt..Then it should be easier to pull out. Try it at your own risk, but like i said thats what i would do.

I have the same exhaust. It will be hard to take in and out at first. Just use some good tools. Remember leave a lip hanging out a little so you can grab down with some plyers. Good luck

ive got the same thing too a lil hint is clean the inside tip before u try to put the silencer back in and a lil wd can help too late........

Hello? 10 posts and not one person answered his question the right way? Call any apexi dealer and tell them you want to buy the 13 dollar tip removal tool. It is Red, thick steel, with a big handle and made to remove the tip. Put the vice grips and ice away.
