I pulled them out of the junkyard today when I noticed how big the opening was compared to stock ones. They were on a 99 gs-t. The ones on the bottom were the ones I pulled and the ones on top were stock in a head I bought.

They're likely not the "3g" revised lifters. Mitsu actually switched to a larger port lifter during the 2g production. My stock head from a 99 had the same lifters. Most aftermarket revised lifters have that rippled crimped cap on top like your original lifter appears to have.
So essentially I bought stock lifters with bigger holes, would they work better than the original lifters I had, and would they work on my 6 bolt? They look a little shorter.
3g lifters (not 3g eclipse, 3rd gen 4g63) = big hole/tall like 1g/bigger side hole
