go out and buy a haynes manual or chiltons, they will explain in depth how to do it. It is not an easy thing to do, but with the right help and tools you can do it..

 

i have a Haynes but it doesnt show a decent picture nor does it tell you how too remove it from the tranny,

 

I just did mine recently...and ruined the driveshafts. The Haynes manual is infamous for having problems in their manual. Unfortunately, thats the one I also have. Just put a pry bar between the axles and tranny and keep pressing little by little until they finally pop out. I found the passenger side to be easier than getting the axle out of the intermediate shaft.

 

I just did this on my parts car. Honestly it is easier with 2 people. My dad used the pry bar where the axle met the tranny. I pulled out on the suspension, to assist them coming out. Just be careful not to shred the seals with the pry bar.
