well i have a big 16g and recently i just slapped on another housing. the one i had, had some bolts snapped off in it. so a guy from jersey sent me a new housing. well, i ported it pretty good (big enough to fit a 7 cm gasket) and also on the O2 housing side as well. with the stock solenoid i was hitting 15 psi and had no problems but that was with the old housing. but now i can't hardly hold the gas to the floor otherwise it just keeps climbing. i hooked up a manual controller but the same was happening. so i just routed the vacuum hose straight from the turbo compressor outlet straight to the wastegate (no solenoid or boost controller). now it holds to 10 psi for maybe a millisecond and keeps climbing. could the porting possibly be adding so much air that now it's overflowing the stock wastegate hole? or could there be something else i need to look for?

if the car is cold, and i have the solenoid hooked up it just shoots on up there with no hesitation. if it's warm it hits 15 but then may slowly climb on up there. with it routed straight to the wastegate it just slowly climbs up there no matter what. hmmm.....thanks for any info.

p.s. it didn't start out doing this when i 1st slapped on the housing. moved from panama city, fl. to maryland though for an airforce school and since i've been up here it's started the creeping really bad. wastegate bad maybe?

guess i'll have to check it out tomorrow. but also i forgot to mention that this housing is off of a 14b. would that be smaller than the housing that would've been on it originally? not sure what size it was cause i trashed it. maybe it's just overflowing the housing? no, it's not clipped though. i think what i may do tomorrow is just disconnect the actuator arm so that i KNOW that the flapper will open fully under boost. guess if still creeps then i know it's the hole. i'll have to look into the flapper mod though i guess although i don't plan on having this turbo long cause i'll be getting a sbr gt-14. just tryin to do the temp fix. but just wanting to know the cause though cause i plan on giving this turbo to someone when i swap turbos. thanks!

well, i'm thinkin it's probably the wastegate hole. i don't have to worry about the O2 housing though cause i have a full 3 inch atr exhaust with the O2 eliminator. guess i'll just have to be easy on the throttle for the next couple of months and then when i give my turbo to the next guy i'll either have to open it up some or weld the gate shut incase he wants to go with an external dump. thanks for the info.
