no, stay with the 1g. You guys and thinking that an aftermarket bov means performance. The stock 1g is about as efficient as it gets, and untill you are making big power, that is what you need. Spend your money on other things.

 

A/M BOV are for show and turning heads, compared to the 1g BOV. the 1g does what its supposed to, hold boost (higher levels the the 2g stocker at that! )

 

shit a vented 1g is as loud as most aftermarkets if that is what you are going for, but that would only make one a ricer.

My 1g is recirculated with a hard pipe and it's pretty loud. I bought an ebay knockoff and haven't put it on. Don't fix what's not broken

do you know this from experience? most of my friends run that blowoff valve, and none of them EVER leaked. just wondering how you came to this conclusion

 

years of exp. 4 leaked, also search back to 2001-03 for opinions. these were pressure tested. also a couple magasines a few years tested all the bov's out at the time (greddy, hks, stock from various man., turboxs) the hks was rated the worst, then the rfl. the stock 1g was rated the 2nd to the tial

is it right off the bat brand new ssqv started to leak or went time takes its places that it started to leak ??

 

2 off the bat 2 were used

 

Besides wasting your money, I dont see any other advantages.

 

2nd gens suck, aftermarket ones are for looks, and the 1st gen one is for real dsmers...........how about that...........
