Here is the dillio,
car 95 tsi awd just installed a new act 2100 street disc and press plate, alomd with a new slave ande master. The clutch slips with like 1000miles on it. I bleed it like 10 times so far and it works but with time heat slips againI seem to have no leaks any where and I have the SS line.

Here is my concern, that I might need 1/16' washer in the release bearing arm b/c I have wear here and maybe when the clutch is freshly bleed it works right initially b/c the hydolic's are able to compensate until they heat any inherent gas in the fluid hydrolic system.

I know about the RRE/rip sites on adjustment and have read on the adjustments but honestly the primer on this area of adjustment is not clear b/c of differing terminology. Can someone tell me descriptively what I am looking to accomplish when I adjust the rod and upper adjust??

Again my problem is that after a long drive the clutch slips...I need to get good engagement if possible from adjusting the pedal.

Okay, I adjusted the upper cruise switch to give the clutch pedal more play then I extended out the lower rod so only a couple full turns were left before be coming all the way un-threaded. So far I have driven it for like 20 miles and engagement is in the middle of the full motion of the clutch arc. the peadl sits about 3/4' higher than the brake but it feels like it is fully engaging and dis-engaging. I'll post an update see if it keeps NOT slipping.
