yep i have gone approx. 390 miles out of the 500 now and today i accidently, well kinda on purpose... , stepped on the gas a little to hard and boosted to 10 psi for maybe 1 second and what happened.... it SLIPPED!
a brand new act2100 slipped... now wtf is it just because its not fully broken in! or is this a problem that should not be happening... its slipped twice since i have gotten it installed but both times were at higher acceleration trying to change lanes in traffic... i stay below the 0 on the boost gauge at almost all times except very rare instances where i need to get up and go before i miss my turn and i need to merge etc... but VERY often... is this slipping something i should worry about or is it just slipping at higher acceleration because it has not fully seated itself just yet?

well it was never in 5th gear slipping... i make sure to keep me boost at -10 or under in 5th

both times it has slipped i was in 3rd gear and was only accellerating quickly to merge into traffic... and both were at 10+ psi.. also both happened while its still in break in period...

my old cllutch (stock one) slipped in 3rd gear sometimes then it slowly got worse and worse and slipped in every gear eventually... thats why im worried

Where is your friction point ? You should have 1/2 an inch of slop at the top of your clutch. Do you ? It is a posobility that it could have been instaled correctly but just not adjusted. a new clutch in our cars HAS to be ajusted i learned this when installing mine. i had the opposite problem, i couldn't get into gears cause the fork was not pushing hard enough unajusted. the adjustment is right there at the pedel and not to hard to do. If you have no slop on the top of your clutch your fork may not be relesing all the way causeing your clutch disc not to be making full contact.

oh by the way mine never sliped and i boosted quite a bit before my break in period was over

i have about 1/2 inch of play yes... i dont know what else it could be... i can only pray that once break in period is over and i step on it that it will hold and not slip! if it does i will be PISSED... im sure it has some type of 3 month warranty... i have had it for only 3 weeks now...

yes i got the full act 2100 kit and the dealer installed it... cost me overall about 700-800... after install and parts

so i should take it back you think?

inform the dealer they must have installed it incorrectly because its slipping now when you changed lanes as you stated before. stick to your guns. you may have to get nasty with them. start out nice though. it's their fault not yours.
