looks ok, not great.

service limit is 133psi so you above that, and they are all even, so that is good.

With the wet test it went up 25psi, which is kinda alot. That says you rings are going bad, but it is not horrible; the vfaq says over 30psi increase shows worn rings, you're kinda close to that. Was the engine at operation temp duing the test? Did you hole it at WOT during the test?

I bet your rings were not set correctly after the rebuild. Did you have any kind of "break in" method after the rebuild?

I agree. Sounds like they didn't seat properly. If you did follow the break in procedure then you might be able to have the machine shop who performed your rebuild (if you didn't do it yourself) check it out. Usually they have some type of warranty and hopefully will take care of it for you.

He could of used the old rings but i dont know why he would do that. Have u ever over heated the motor at all before. Also did u take atleast 700 miles to baby the motor. Or did u rip on it right out of the box. My friend did that and he gernaded his turbo and motor was unhappy with a compressor wheel pieaces in the cylinder.

not to get into anther engine break-in debate, but you should NOT baby the car at all. That could cause the ring to seat poorly. If you want good compression you need to seat the rings in the first 10-50 miles. There was a good break-in procedure listed in a thread a few months ago.
