I have a 95 Talon and my radiator decided to die yesterday. So, I ran to the local junkyard. I found a 1st gen eclipse right away took the radiator and 2 fans out of it. Paid too much then headed home to install it. Everything went well until I tried plugging in the fan. For some reason the plugs wouldn't plug into each other. I want to just wire it straight in or switch the plug from my other fan (that is on my bad radiator) to the fan I just got. I would like to run the ac fan along with the cooling fan. Does anybody know what the four wires are on the cooling fan plug? Also what The wires are on my plug that is on my car? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I've searched this site, vfaq and Google. The only thing I get any info on Is somebody talking about aftermarket fans they've gotten and no info on what color wire is what.

I'm not sure if i understand correctly. Did you have a problem with your origional fans? I understand you put a 1g radiator in a 2g but i'm not sure if your using 1g fans or 2g.

How come you didn't just put the right radiator in?

I looked on all 2gs and they had all been gone through and everything was missing. I came across that 1g and it was unmolested and surprisingly clean! I just need to know the power and ground on the (1g)fan plug and the power and ground for my cars plug. If I can't get anything from you guys I guess I'm just gonna play with it and eventually figure it out tonight. Then post what I figured out.

I didn't have any problems with my original fan I just wanna run the fans that are on the 1g radiator since I just installed it last night. Im just trying to avoid pulling it out again just to put my old fan on this 1g radiator.

I appreciate the responses.

I guess we are supposed to get you a wiring diagram for a car that we know nothing about.
Is it a Turbo? 5-Speed?
If it is a turbo is it an Automatic?
Is it a Non-turbo? 5-Speed?
If it is a Non-Turbo is it an Automatic?

Very important information we need?

It's a Manual ESI with turbo 6 bolt swap. I figured it out and I'm not hacking my car up. I just wired the plug in to just the high speed (black ground and blue positive). Started the car let it run for awhile. When it got up to temp, the fans kicked on so everything is good appreciate the help.
