Well I called my friend from work and told him to check to see if my fuel pump was still working(the car has been increasingly harder to start) I told him he needed to hook the connector behind the battery up to a +12v connection. Well I figured nothing of this. Until I got home and he said he hooked it up and nothing was happening. I asked him to show me what he did, well come to find out he connected the Engine Timing Adjustment Connector to the positive terminal...My car will not start now, it'll rotate forever but will not start. It is getting no fuel through the injectors(however plenty on the rail) and no spark. Anybody ever done this on accident or knows if this is why the car isnt starting or just some fluke that happened at the same time that something else went that was gradually going already before? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. James...

My guess is since that wire goes back to the ECU to have it lock timing that something got jacked up. If I remember correctly the CAS controls both ignition timing and when the injectors fire, so sending 12V down that wire (that is only suppose to be grounded) could have damaged that system hence why you have no spark or injectors. If you feel comfortable with it, pop open the ECU to see if anything looks "burned up."

Well I did open it up and look at it I see no "Visible" evidence of foul play. But Im pretty sure that +12v isnt good for electronic lines that are meant for grounding. I also thought that the CAS had just gone, I hooked up my multimeter and checked pins 1+2 4.99 volts steady but when its rotated it doesnt fluctuate at all? Im not positive but I remember reading that is how you check its operation(aside from it should be firing the plugs and executing the injectors) Any more Ideas?

Sorry for the double post here, but as an update I realized when turning the key on/trying to start my gauges do not move at all. But my electronics do work however (Headlights,Interior Lights,Stereo) Bad Ecu? Relay?
