Dejon Tool Intake Pipe for a 1G

I've searched numerous times, but everyone that posted on the Dejon Tool pipes was usually for a 2G, or they didnt really have the answers I'm lookin for.

I'm lookin at getting the Dejon Tool intake pipe, either the CIP-1gB or the CIP-1gF .

Ok now you have the basic pictures/info. Also, the B is the old pipe, the F is the new pipe design. I like the B for 2 reasons: its $15 cheaper,and its a straight pipe, no curve to it!

Onto my questions for those who own either of these pipes:

-Is their a noticable increase in sound, power (top end, bottom end, etc) and turbo spool?

-I noticed the old pipe (CIP-1gB) doesnt have the holes for the 2 lines running to the intake (although I cant remember what their for right now) Do they have them or do I need to make my own?

-Was their any fitment problems?

I bought the intake with the bypass tube and filter plus I kept the charcoal canister tube also. It fits good but even with me keeping the original bolt holes on the filter canister that I cut it is at such an angle I couldn't bolt it down to the existing stock mounting points. It still fits ok but it is at an angle and you have to be careful that it doesn't rest on the AC lines or it will cut though them. (I wasn't careful

)

I didn't really notice a soung difference but my Karmen readings on the AFC were a bit higher with the pipe and the turbo seemd to spool a 100 or so rpm sooner.

I did notice that they dropped their prices abit and I really like mine so it is a good investment and looks great.

I got the 1Gb fits great, yeah I noticed a difference not alot but after I cranked up the boost it helped alot. Its the best intake for 1g's IMO.

You said you have the 1gB, and the site says its a 2.5" pipe, but your sig says you have a 3". Did they use to make a 3"?

Dejon intake pipes....

I picked up a Dejon intake pipe to use a 2G MAS in a 1G:

I absolutely love it. It fit great, amplified the BOV/spooling sound (for the rice-effect

), and lowered my spool-up slightly. All in all I'd say it was a great purchase. Fitment and craftsmanship are second-to-none. My $.02.......

I was running a ghetto PVC intake that had very few bends & supposedly flowed nice. I replaced it w/ the B pipe & instantly noticed quicker spool. Plus the BOV sound was louder to! I'll never change my BOV unless I"m doing 30psi, but it does sound good w/ the intake pipe.

I dont remmember I might of had a brain fart when I did my sig. Wait I think the one end is like 3 inches and where it connects to the car its 2 1/2" so that is probably where I got 3" from.

If I were to buy the intake tube for my 1G Talon TSi, should I get the 1Gb w/bov or without? 89 bucks isn't that bad plus only 5 bucks shipping. Any tips on the install since w/ this straight pipe, the MAS will be in a different place? Thanks everyone. Would you say it increases turbo/bov sound better or better performance?
