Well guys, in typical DSM fashion, my car has decided to call it quits on that whole starting business
I need help diagnosing it, as it's really an issue that came out of the blue. I was driving the car perfectly all day, with absolutely no issues starting or driving. I pulled the car into the garage and chilled inside for a couple hours.
I come back outside and turn the key. Nothing.:wall: (note): All of my electronics were working fine, with a normal battery voltage from the battery. I turn it again. Nothing. There is no *click* from the starter, no cranking from a lack of fuel or spark. "WTF?" is all I could think.
--I tightened the battery cables and terminals. Nothing.
--I took a hammer to the starter Nothing.
--I push started the car. Starts immediately.
Let me stress to you, that the starter was in perfect, working condition all day and everyday. It never failed to start, and it never took abnormally long to crank, if anything it took a couple extra cranks just because of the Odyssey mini-battery I run.
What could it be, DSM Pro's? If your going to quickly respond, "Get a new starter", tell me why the car decided to die out of the blue and NEVER had any signs of going bad? Also let me tell you, that I got one of the terminals to spark, just in case that infers anything about getting power?
Please help, valuable advice is needed and appreciated.
