Now I didn't know whether to post this in the Electronics section on Body Tech Section. Technically it is body related as a Body shop seemed to have caused this issue then again it could be an electrical issue. MOD's I am sorry for the hassle but please, as you see fit, move this thread to the appropriate section.
Moving on. The nice folks at the body shop did a really good job it seemed initially.

Now the issue is this.
The central locking system or power locks whatever you call them don't work perfectly and I don't even want to bother with the body shop anymore because it means more time for the car to be the body shop i.e. more time I'm gonna be spending driving my sister around. Because she drives the car most of the time.
Moving on, here is the issue. The door lock works. When you put in the key and turn it in the passenger side, the passenger side lock opens however what used to happen was that the driver's side lock would also open. It no longer does that. Now when I open the door from the passenger side the factory alarm goes off. At which point I have to run to the driver's side and insert and turn the key in the lock. To complicate the issue, the power lock switch inside the passenger side door works and the driver's side one also works. The issue here it seems is when I turn the key in the passenger side door, all the locks don't open. It seems they missed some sort of the security sensor or wire or something that is causing the alarm to go off if I open from passenger side.
Any hints before I tear down the door and try to fix it?

There are a couple wires running to the lock. One obviously send a signal to the factory alarm to turn it off (or on), and one obviously sends a signal to the relays to unlock the doors. If they didn't connect these wires back, then that's the problem. These wires have nothing to do with the actual remote/power locks themselves working, so it would make sense that the power locks still work. You should be able to see the wires easily if you take the inner door panel off.
