I dont know if this will work, but I was thinking about it the other day. I was thinking since the only difference between the old stlye lifters and the revised lifters are the size of the top hole. I could be wrong, but that is what I read somewhere.
So, here is what I thought.
Just get a machine shop to enlarge the outlet just to the size of the revised lifters. Ta da.... Save yourself bucks.
This is just an idea.

If anyone has the revised lifters, let me know the diameter of the hole is.
