Great place full of great information. Dont ever be afraid to ask a tech question or just to get an opinion on something for the car. Search button will be your friend as well :)

Im sure it does have its classy quality members, but I recently signed up there purley for the classifieds, not under the same name though, tee hee, so dont tell anyone. Anyway, Im trailing again, I was overwhelmingly appauled at the nonsense, I mean Iv'e heard it was differnet, but I was not expecting that, some of the things members posted to try and help others with a problem were just nuts! Im not trying to make a us vs them thing, it was just simply nuts.

I mean the foot traffic over there is cracies! I will always want quality over quantity. Plus Id get super annoyed and prolly banned if I tried everyday to give good info to help folks out.

EDIT: Like the kia-forums, I only have 1 more warning and Im gone. Some of that stuff is just to funny though. I could not help myself.

Indeed. To be honest I had a wild hair to post about this same thing, but while updating myself before posting found this thread.
Any and all resources we as a community have are awesome. That said, Talk has a quality unsurpassed in the information and people. That is not to say that any others are not quality, indeed the more people playing the better, but I started here and after seeing what else is suspended in cyberspace I have to say that the old heads ensure this is a positive place.
It bothers me that so many whine about spelling to post here, and hence stray. I have never seen a simple mistake criticized, nor have I seen a silly post ignored.
I can only hope that renewed interest from quality people make this place endure. Cheers to all of you.

People will jump ship for a little while, heck when I first got into the online Dsm community I signed up here first and then strayed over to the more colorful forums at the other sites, it didnt last forever though after I got sick of the treatment over there and the shear stupidity, it drove me running back here and I have never wanted to leave since. I feel that the quality members in the community will eventually rise to the top and end up here, for some it takes a little longer to grow up and see past the glitz though, but in the end we know how it will suss out.

I love this place! There is a ton a great knowledge to be had here. I don't really post much but I love to read everything I can. I'm like a sponge I just soak everything up. Most questions I usually have I find through search or Google. Everyone seems friendly and I'm looking forward to getting to know a lot of you.
