Ok so my car has been in and out of the garage for the past few years. Its last visit was the longest (a year and a half!!). Anyways theres this guy that i kinda know who has always talked trash about my car and told me that i was full of crap because i always talked about my car but he never saw it running. So i get it running one night at like 3am and i decide to take it for a spin and do some tunning. I pull out of my neighborhood and the first person i see is this dude and 2003 camaro SS. I pulled up next to him and my windows are tinted so he cant see who i am. The light turns green and he takes off. Then at the next light I pushed the high boost button on my boost controller and acted nice and calm. the light turned green and he took off again. So i let her eat in second gear and i got right next to him. Then third gear, by the end of third gear im 2 cars infront of this chump. so i hit the hazards to piss him off. then he pulls up to the next light and i rolled down my window and watched his jaw hit the ground. So he says lets do it again. well to make another long story short he would been better off from a roll he had some traction issues so i burried him (AWD baby) and took off with my middle finger hanging out the Window Ha Ha Ha !!! V8's suck!!!

Why would you do something like this unprovoked. Sounds like you were being a dick.

Dang dude seems by your wording you really wanted severaly hurt this guy. Good kill, hope i dont meet you in a crazy mood

first off..V-8's dont suck. Second...good kill...Muscle heads generally have the notion that imports are slow and deserve no respect...way to keep on showing them they are wrong. THIRD..you should have not given him the finger, it represents the DSMrs in the wrong way, you should have just kept rolling away letting the Camaro feel stupid

Bummer you had to flip him off, we all know what it feels like to spank and be spanked, but it's the bigger man that gives the first thumbs up. Good kill BTW.

I'm assuming that he was just guessing on an age. It was probably a 200# model. Good kill, however, flippin him off and saying V8s suck, only brings down the overall image.

Nice kill. Yeah if I were you, I wouldn't of given the middler finger, seems immature, and I'm only 16. But, that's just me.

Ok great remark! he did post in the kill section so most likely thats what you do. and the middle finger thing isnt nessassary just makes to a good ending. and dont even try and say you have "never" street raced another

my view:

giving him the middle finger on this race is fair enough if he shows the guy respect from now on out .... in that case, one finger is fair "payback" for years of "your a liar"

if he continues to give the middle finger at all times till the end of eternity, thats something else ...

good kill man, its always fun to shock the hell out of people

Yea, V8's don't "suck" but,,, they've outlived their usefulness... obsolete. The only reason they added more cylinders way back when, was to improve performance. Now that we've discovered other ways to do that with smaller engines, we don't need 'em any longer. They don't produce an appropriate amount of torque for their weight, and how much gas they burn. My turbo V6, or your guys' turbo 4 cylinders, make more torque for the weight of your little cars, AND get better gas milage to boot. For a 2800lbs ? car, our little turbo engines, are MORE than sufficient, (and in some cases, downright fast as hell) and are a better bang for the buck, than ANY V8 could ever hope to be... so why would anyone want a V8? (except for towing) They WERE cool, but not anymore...and I'm a diehard american musclecar fan too. I'm just here looking for a cheap all wheel drive turbo car as a daily driver, and these seem to be it.

"For what I pay for a gasket kit for our dsms, i could build a small block v8 though Nice kill though dude."

I'm sure you're kinda exaggerating but...even if you're not, ok, so it took you 1500 to replace your gaskets.. ok fine. now lets see your fuel bill at the end of the year, and his (the V8's) fuel bill at the end of the year. youve still got him beat. trust me, I've poured over this situation for quite a while, before settling on a turbo V6. while getting way better gas milage, im still puttin the turbo6 smackdown on the local LT/LS-1's all day long. with an all steel, 18 year old, non aerodynamic 3600 pound, full size, 5 passenger family sedan... from BUICK no less. an old mans grocery getter. WITH the air on. WITH an automatic for you die hard 5speed lovers. (go ahead, miss ONE small shift, and you just degraded your loss from one car, to 6, in a fraction of a second. not worth it in my opinion) But thats racing. I want another daily driver, and the turbo all wheel drive dsm's are lookin pretty unbeatable. (in THAT role) all wheel traction, light weight, great gas milage, good looks, aerodynamic and a wastegate to play with on top of that. unbeatable.
