I am sorry but I recently acquired an EVO 8 FMIC for 50$. One side is a little beat up (backed into by a trailer hitch), but the other side is fine. The small mod list includes: Apex N-1 downpipe (no cat)/Cat-Back, Pacesetter Manifold, Upper IC pipe, Cone air-filter. I have listed a few basic questions below:

1.) I am running a stock T-25, would this FMIC be too much?

2.) Is it worth putting an EVO 8 FMIC on a 2g (considering I paid $50 for the intercooler)?

3.) Can I pressure test it the same way I pressure test the entire system, except I cap the other end of the intercooler?

4.) Can I use VFAQ.com for step-by-step install, or is this intercooler too different from their examples?

5.) If #4 does not work, then does anyone know of an alternate?

6.) Possibilities of running dual-intercooler?

I have searched other forums but unable to find a definitive answer with my cars setup (or similar). I also know some of these are newbie questions, but I learn about my car as I dismantle and rebuild. I thank you for your help ahead of time.

1) T25 stinks with any intercooler :)
2) Sure
3) Yes, do it off the car before you try to install
4) No idea, never looked at the FMIC VFAQ... but I'm sure your install will be different from theirs. You could look at the pics to get an idea of what you're dealing with as far as space on the car, pipe routing, etc.
5) ... ?
6) No.

I used to own a 2003 Evo8 and I can tell you the upper intercooler pipe was never very cool at all. I'm not sure if it was because the pipe was so close to the valve cover or if it just isn't that efficent. I'm going to assume the latter. I would make a single pass on the drag strip, park the car, and it would be hot to the touch.

I would suggest you use a different core, but since you only paid $50 it's not that big of a deal.
