Hey guys just signed up here looks like you have a good message board I'm thinking about buying a 94 talon that needs a front right lower control arm its n/a 1.8 would a n/a 95 talon ft right control arm fit? what about other ft suspension parts? what is interchangable? any help would be great!

No. 2g's have a double wishbone suspension. If the bolts aren't seized up too bad it's not that bad of a job to do yourself.

ok thanks what about the rack & pinion it looks like it might be bent along with the tie rod, axle and strut..... does anyone have these parts for sale?? it wont let me post in the for sale form... anywhere in the Chicago land area?? or anywhere for that mater

If there is not a used control arm for sale on the board where can i find one? what about the axle? are these stocked by autozone? advanced auto?

Control arms, not at autozone or anything like that. I'd try a junkyard for that. Axles, yes places like autozone and napa sell them. Rather cheap too at napa.

control arm for a fwd 1g is about $300 and is a dealer only part, HOWEVER, my first dsm was a 93 Talon N/T(4G63), and the control arm was bent, none of the local salvage yards had one for me, but one of the yards was able to find me one for $50, does the control arm on the one you are thinking about buying allow the vehicle to roll? I have 2 parts cars and i will be willing to sell you a control arm(one of which is actually the car i had to replace a control arm on, damned timing belt), but i need to keep them as rolling chassis, if the bad control arm you have isn't too fucked up to let the car roll, i'd be willing to do a trade +cash....let me know....

Ok called the local junkyard and they said $45 and they will take it off 40 if i want to pull it.... that doesn't sound to bad... what are the odds that the upper control arm is bent?? anything else i should look for??the wheel got pushed back and hit the inner fender thanks to a curb... thanks for the help

If it's a 94 you have there is no upper control arm. Just the lower. If you want a new control arm, they are approx $170 at JNZ Tuning.
