Ok, i did some research, i found these possible choices for a header for the 420a block 2G eclipse

- OBX ceramic coated header..195.95
- Greddy Stainless steel..........370.00
- Pacesetter Ceramic...............250.00
- Pacesetter black...................195.00
- HotShot Ceramic with EGR....370.00 (95 only)
- Hotshot Ceramic...................350.00 (96 and up)

Wich one would be good? i have herd good things from OBX and its the cheapest, but yet so is pacesetter, what yall think out there???

I went with Greddy due to the fact that it is a 4-1 design and it is stainless. The power gains are not signifcant, but they are there. Once I put on a 2.5"cat, and exhaust the car really woke up. If you are automatic I suggest going with a 4-2-1 design as this will not affect torque negatively.

Hey all motor,
you run 14's and you dont have a header yet? What all do you have done to it? I have a pacesetter header on mine but its a 1st Gen. Never had any problems out of it. I've heard all the time that they crack but i've have mine since 98'. Also everyone complains that its crappy black. That paint is only there to protect it while its being transported. It comes off easily When i get a chance im gonna get some high temp silver and paint mine. Cheaper parts = more money for more parts. More expensive parts= Last longer but not in all cases. I could buy like 3 pacesetter headers instead of a stainless steel if it actually did crack or something. I think its well worth the money.

oh no, i have a ceramic coated pacesetter header, but it doesnt fit that great and personaly every brand on my car is good, then u get to the header and its pacesetter, i was just wonderin cause opn the 95 eclipses theres a EGR fitting and the only Non turbo eclipse header ive seen that actually have them are the hotshot and the stock mainifold, i had to rig my pace setter to have one,

egr fitting on the manifold eh? never seen that before.

sure you're not thinking egt or maybe an 02 sensor bung.

hey 95, have you consulted your mechanic with all of his intelicance??? ROFLMAO, you know that if you rap the headers with news paper, it works like heat wrap... even better with large ammounts. Hey what is the static compression in your 95 now???

i guess ur right, i would like to start working on my intirior but it just bugs me, little things liek that bug me, and supa talon, get a freakin life u choch

man if yuo got a header already go with a high flow ca or cat-back ( <- which you might have as well). if you do then yea get some interior stuff done. i mean i don't have a screaming fast car or a show worthy one, but i have a nice even distribution of modifications leaving no area untouched. and i think that's better than eithre being all show or even all go. mix it up a little, plus the ladies usually aren't impressed by a new header (unless they're my gf) but would much rather see a color coordinationg interior or some kick-ass dvd setup in there.

LOL dude you said it, but yea i have the Apexi N1 Cat back, which i am in love with, but yea i wihs i had the kinda funds to get a dvd or somthin, but i have stock cloth and was thinking of either going to Blitzwheels.com and get custom leather or just go to ebay or my friends uncles salvage yard and gettin some stock leather, and some carbon fiber or aluminum dash trim, that would be bad ass but my cars white and the only custom leather they pffer for a do it yourself kit is yellow and black and red and black, red and black doesnt seem to bad since i might get some type of red graphic on the side, Maybe though cause i dont liek the ricey stuff ya know, the 9 foot aluminum wing and all that, its cool and all but i dunno if its for me
