My remote start starts the car fine (but you can't drive it in that mode), but when I go to turn the key to crank the car, the car doesn't turn on. So I know its not the battery, etc.. The key turns on the acc. stuff, but doesn't crank the car on. Can it just be the ignition switch where you put the key in, or is there something else to check??:dunno:
I am kinda confused with your wording. The remote starts the car fine. But when you turn the key to crank the car doesn't turn on? The cars already running.:dunno:
Maybe a fuse or relay?

He means the remote start will turn it on, but the key won't. Meaning the car is off when he tries to crank it with key.

I ma not really sure on how remote starts work, but is it possible the ignition switch is bad?
No he says it starts fine but wont drive in that mode (obviously).
When you start a car with a remote start you have to still put the key in.
Thats why his statement isn't making sence.
Check your fuses.
