So I am taking everything out of my 2g's interior to get sueded and I am having trouble with the rear side window panels. I can't get the seat belt mount off. Does anybody know how to get it off?

p.s. If nobody knows what part I'm talking about I'll post pics. later.

Did you remember to let the backseat down, and get the screws on each panel on the drivers and passengers side? After that it just a matter of pulling the panels off, and trying not to break them. When you get the panels off you will see the bolt that hold the seatbelt mount in place. If we are talking about the same panels I hope that helps.

Ya I got the rear seat belt unbolted, but I'm talking about the front seat belt mounts on the rear side window panel.

Everything is out of the car except for these two parts it's pissin' me off!!!

I was talking about the panels with the speaker grills in them. I'm not sure which one the OP is talking about. He could be talking about the triangular panels that go over the window. If you can clarify we might be more helpful for you.

The plastic trim around the seat belt (part that slides up and down) needs to be separated. There's a bolt in there. A thin little screw driver will do the job and let you pry those two halves apart. ...i'm guessing that's where you're stuck if you're trying to get the belt off. Other than that, I don't know what else to tell you. It was pretty self explanatory when I did it, but it's been a while so I don't remember every step I went through.

...or is the belt off and you want to know about removing the part that it slides up and down on?

pics. :)

Thanks for the response guys. My internet is down so I have to use my school's internet, so thats the reason for the slow response. The triangular peice is the one I was talking about. I was looking at that part before to see if it separated, but it looked molded together. I will take it apart today. Thanks.
