I have a 1G Turbo and have huge cloud of smoke coming out of the exhaust Im sure the turbo is bad, it cant be the head or head gasket I checked my oil and coolant level, My oil is clean no antifreeze and my coolant is full to the top.

I want to know how I could run my talon by disconnecting something for I could run it without the turbo, I dont want to take the turbo off yet because Im looking for one now but dont have time to install it now anyway, any body know how, I hate driving with a bunch of smoke out of the tailpipe.

First, describe all the symptoms. The doctor can't prescribe medication if he doesn't know what's wrong. Is there a big loss of power? Do you have an aftermarket boost guage that shows little or no boosting?

it has low power and hesitates runs crappy the idle is smooth though, and the giant cloud of smoke when i accelerate, I have a boost gauge it only goes to about 5psi max

have you checked everywhere for leaks in the pressureized system? holes can make big smoke. does the turbo make a grind sound when it really starts going?
