tranny lasts 65,876miles and the turbo lasts about 97,254.08 or so.
no one can answer your question i am on the stock turbo and clutch and tranny and fuel pump and everything else except plugs & wires and oil at 142,970.
and the guy i bought the car from only changed the oil every 6k and never let it idle down.

I have 181,700 miles on my original motor on my 91 GSX
Tranny rebuild at 150K

Everything depends on your driving habits. If you are easy on the car, I don't see why it wouldn't go to 200K. But if you are like most of us on this board, you will be hard on your car. I consider myself lucky to still have my original motor still going as strong as it is. I have been pretty hard on it, racing it on the street and strip.

theres no definitive answer to that question, since it depends on an innumerable amount of variables effecting each of them. Id have to guess that 125k is about average for an original motor, assuming it was driven like an average car and had average oil replaced every 3k. The tranny snycros seem to go bad around this time as well assuming normal driving style and maintenence took place.

I rebuilt my bottom end at ~102k...a bit early, but my comp. #'s were something like 130-135-125-130. Ive heard of guys claiming 155+ across the board on motors that have 160k miles tho. (probably the result of fanatical attention to using the highest quality synthetic oil and changing it often.)

im still on the stock tranny and turbo at 108k now. tranny shifts a little rough in morning, but otherwise gets the job done fine and still feels nice most of the time. turbo has no shaft play or any other strange behaivor to date that would indicate its going bad.
