So, I'm thinking its time to stop playing games get a fmic, and move on to a nice sized turbo(I'm thinking AGP's full GT30 kit rated for 550 hp). The only thing is that my a/c allready sucks(It needs a recharge, and proably some more work) and I'm wondering how much will putting that fmic infront of my condenser affect the a/c?

Should I just pay a shop to recharge the system, and get the damm fmic or does it realy make a difference even on a fully charged system?

I never noticed my AC working any worse, it's just a lot easier to oveheat the car by running the AC too cold.

HRC does a neat little pipe "underpass" style with their FMIC which in theory (never heard anyone review it firsthand) allows more flow to the radiator. I think that was quite off topic. AC shouldn't be affected by an FMIC. I forgot to check which state you live in, and how the weather is, but here in sunny, hot, muggy, utterly disgusting florida, cooling can be an issue. (Which is why a few of my friends drive around with the heat on in the middle of the summer, too lazy ..) You may need new fans with the new turbo anyway to make room, so why not?

http://www.turbosystem.com for HRC's site.

I'm thinking about getting dejon tools race fmic. I live in utah if that makes any difference (it was about 102 today). So most are saying it shouln't affect cooling too much, but what about a/c? mine allready sucks when I'm driving around in town, I don't want it to get any worse.

My a/c is removed and with my big fmic my coolant temp is around 205-210 during summer, it hit 217 on a hot day once, and this is with a 180F t-stat and stock rad.
My oil temps went up around 15 degrees after the fmic install, on a hot day they hit 230-240F, the sandwich oil cooler(heater) is garbage.

I can only imagine what my coolant/oil temps would be if i still had my a/c.

Looks like I may be stuck with a larger smic setup. :(

Like what's being posted, your going to get a lot of different answers. I did have overheating problems after my Greddy FMIC install. I had temps of 245. I had to remove the A/C and get a fluidyne. That dropped 40 dgrees off my coolant temps!!
