look at the rear axles and see if ther are 3 bolts or 4 bolts holding them to the cups. That is the only way to tell.

Ah alright, thanks. Can you easily see it from under the car? I'd imagine you could but I dunno if something might be in the way...

Just look behind the rear wheels...

 

not behind the rear wheels....just look at the rear diff.....if there 4 bolts holding the axles in a square pattern its a 4 bolt....if theres 3 in a triangle pattern its a 3 bolt

 

aren't all 7bolt turbo's equipped with 4bolt rear ends and 90-92.5 turbo's 6/3 combos?

 

92s all have 4 bolts I'm pretty sure which is why early 92s are so desireable. 6 bolt/4 bolt combo.

No, you can't just look at the Diff. Here's a pic from Vfaq. It's much easier to look behind the wheel or even just feel for the 4 bolts than it would be to look at that while its underneath the car.
